Indecent Exposure
Ridge Heights Road 11300 at Thursday, August 16
A young man allegedly exposed himself to a 15-year-old Reston-area girl. The teenager was walking alone in the 11300 block of Ridge Heights Road when a small blue car with a big spoiler in the rear passed her. The car stopped a short distance away and the driver got out. He approached the victim and asked her if she knew where Southlakes High School was. As she started to answer him, he exposed himself. The victim immediately said she had to leave, turned and walked abruptly to the high school. She was not injured and the suspect did not follow her. The suspect was described as an Asian/Pacific Islander, approximately 18 years old. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed approximately 170 pounds. He had short, straight, black hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a light blue baseball cap.
Malicious Wounding/Arrest
Freedom Drive 11900 at Saturday, August 18
Two men, known to each other, got into an argument that turned physical. A 50-year-old man from Louisa County was allegedly hit in the face and was transported to Reston Hospital Center with non life-threatening injuries. William Reinhardt, 22, of 10125 Woodberry Drive #904 in Manassas, was arrested. Reinhardt was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with malicious wounding.
Robbery
North Shore Drive/Wainwright Drive at Friday, August 17
A 28-year-old Reston woman was robbed near North Shore Drive and Wainwright Drive. She was walking home from the grocery store around 11:30 p.m. A man approached and demanded money. The victim dropped her groceries and tried to run away. The suspect chased her, threw her onto the ground and stole her purse. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as black, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans.
