Suspicious Death of Infant
Utterback Store Road/Neha Court
Police were called to the intersection of Utterback Store Road and Neha Court in the Great Falls area to investigate the report of an infant’s body found in the container portion of a garbage truck. Officers arrived on the scene on Saturday, September 8 shortly after 9 a.m. They were met by the driver of the truck, who led officers to the body. Specific information about the truck’s route, as well as, the number and location of collections are part of the on-going investigation. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is now the lead agency in this investigation.
Abduction/Arrests
Glade Drive 12000
An 18-year-old Reston-area woman was sexually assaulted on Saturday, September 7 around 9:30 p.m. near Glade Drive. The victim was walking alone when she was attacked by two men. The attackers dragged the victim into a wooded area nearby. She was held against her will and was assaulted by both men. The two men fled in an unknown direction. On Sunday, September 8 around 1:30 p.m. the victim saw her alleged attackers in the 12000 block of Glade Drive. She summoned police and the two men were taken into custody. Milton Murillo-Rodriguez, 31 and Elvis Mejia-Galdamez, 27, both with no fixed addresses, were charged with abduction with intent to defile. They were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

On Monday, September 10 around 3:44 a.m., school security personnel discovered graffiti at Herndon High School, located at 700 Bennett Street. Racially motivated words and symbols were spray painted on school property.

On Thursday, September 13th a man had a domestic dispute, and was later found stabbed to death. The police arrived shortly after 11pm, and the suspect fled the scene. Upon entering the house it was discovered the man had been stabbed three times. A murder warrant was obtained for the victims son.
On Friday Mohamed Adde turned himself in at the Reston District police station. The incident happened at the apartment building of 11911 Winterthur Lane.

The suspect in this incident has been identified as Rodney L King, of no fixed address. He has non life threating injuries, and is under guard at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. He has been charged with attempted capital murder of a police officer. Criminal and administrative investigation continue.
At around 3:30am police fired on the man at a traffic stop, near Sunrise Valley Drive and Copper Mine Road. Officers responded to a report of a single car accident. Fairfax County police are saying the man pulled a handgun, and pointed it at police during the incident. The police took preemptive actions.
The officers where put on administrative leave, as is standard procedure in such incidents.
The Washington Post is reporting the man shot was medevaced to the Inova Fairfax hospital. Another officer received minor injuries, but is fine. No details where released on who fired, or how many shots there where.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred on Glade Drive. The incident happened at 9:30pm on September 7th. The two men held the victim against her will and assaulted her. The next day she saw the men in the 12000 block of Glade Drive and contacted the police.
The two men, Milton Murillo-Rodriguez and Elvis Mejia-Galdamez both had no permanent fixed address. They where taken to the Adult Detention Center.

A homeowner discovered a burglar in her residence. The 21-year-old victim heard noises coming from her kitchen around 11:35am. When she went to investigate, the suspect was standing in her kitchen and fled when confronted. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old. He was 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. His hair was short with a military-style haircut and no facial hair. He wore a red sleeveless T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Wayne Harris Moses of Stonewheel Drive has turned himself into police. In late august he robbed the Hunters Woods Exxon fuel station. On August 29th detectives discovered and located the suspect, and proceeded to interview him. Two days later he turned himself in at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He has been charged with robbery and use of firearm in a robbery.

Burglary
Viking Drive 2600 at August 29th
A school security officer responded to an alarm around 2am at Fox Mill Elementary, located at 2601 Viking Drive. The security officer saw a male standing near one of the doors. Two other males came out of the school when the officer challenged him. The suspects, three 16-year-olds from the Herndon area, were questioned and released to their parents. Charges of burglary are pending.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old. He was 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. His hair was short with a military-style haircut and no facial hair. He wore a red sleeveless T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Fairfax County police are reporting the Hunters Woods Exxon gas station was robbed on Sunday night. The incident happened around 9:45 when the criminal brandished a fire armed and demanded money. The victim complied, and the robber took an undisclosed sum of money from the register.
