Here are some fun things to do with your family for labor day or any other day in Reston.
Reston Zoo: Check out some of the animals at this nearby zoo. It’s open until 6pm with last admission at 5pm until September 3rd.
Movies: How about a family movie night after the BBQ? Each person can pick a movie, and have some popcorn.
Jobs: Labor Day should be about forgetting your job, but why not talk to your kids about work? Get a book with many jobs, and tell your kids what they do. And ask what they want to be.
Museums: You don’t have to visit DC to find museums. Reston has some, one is the Reston Historic Museum at Lake Anne. You can also visit the art gallery at Lake Anne, on the ground floor of the Heron House.
