I found the contrast between light and dark to be intriguing. The off centered composition also resonated with me.

On this cloudy, rainy, and cold day (enjoy the cool while you can), this scene of bright skies, framed by the ice skating rink/atrium at the Reston Town Center, caught our eye.

This well composed picture of tortoise is from the Reston Zoo. The photo being dived in two parts, one of his, body, the other of the grass seems to suggest the close relationship this land crawler has with the ground.
